- Put together the four pieces, make sure the two openings for the entrance and silicone tubing are where you want them to be. Secure them with clips.
- Ready the 3D printed sand mold on the acrylic base. Leave some space between where sand and magnets will be.
- Pour sand into the sand mold.
- Add enough water for sand to stay in shape. It is recommended to experience a few times to find the right amount of water needed.
- Shape the sand for the water reservoir to fit.
- Ready the water reservoir and acrylic walls from step 2.
- Place acrylic mold on top of acrylic base. The water reservoir should also fit in the sand shaped in step 6.
- Add a small amount of sand by the water reservoir and sand to make sure no space is left for the plaster to flow in.
- Secure the acrylic bottom and acrylic walls with clips.
- Note that the water reservoir and acrylic bottom should not be touching, leave some space so plaster can cover that area.
- Add tubing to where you want the entrance to the nest will be.
- This is how everything should look like before pouring plaster.
